In a recent meeting in Washington, DC, members of ERIC’s Legal Committee heard from experts from the law firms of Miller & Chevalier and Epstein Becker Green on key legal issues faced by large plan sponsors.
In the opening session, Anthony Shelley, John Houston Pope, and Debra Davis addressed “Benefit Claims: Risks, Traps and Dealing with Litigation”. The second panel featured Michael Khalil, Kenneth Kelly, and Scott Macey discussing “The Post-Amara Landscape”. In the final panel, Anthony Shelley, Alan Horowitz, Scott Macey, and Debra Davis examined “Major Cases and Threats at the Supreme Court and the Circuits”.
