The Plan represents projects the departments intend to work on during the plan year, but that does not mean the project will be completed during that period. The Plan notes that some projects that were on the 2012-2013 Plan have not been included on the 2013-2014 Plan because they are no longer considered priorities for purposes of allocating resources during the 2013-2014 plan year.
Among the new items is the highly anticipated guidance relating to the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in United States v. Windsor (determining that Section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional). Some of the more familiar (and long-pending) items relate to retirement, health, and compensation issues.
